Story behind the song
On the white digital piano (actually 2019 but let's call it now) - and 1979 at Pontins Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park Lounge Bar in 1979. Life was very different back then - I smoked profusely and drank profusely as did so many people. I was very happy, as in a serious relationship with my wife to be, Susan (yes we are still in a serious relationship all these years later). By end of 1980 I'd given up pro. piano playing and we had made a positive start into our new MAGIC entertainment business. There were sadnesses, as my mother died shortly afterwards, but we moved house within 4 years to an upmarket area, had two sons - and the rest? well, time goes by. The old tape of 1979 I worked really hard to get into MP3 format was saved by Susan's mother who passed away in 2017.
