Diem felicem habe. Musica vitae cibus est. Rursus, quaeso, redi. All played Live from various instruments - no computer progs.
Started age 15 playing in the King's Hall, Belle Vue, Manchester for Children's Ballet Shows - the rest is history . . . English? yes. A gentleman? I try to be. Originally from Heaton Norris, Stockport, myself and my wife Susan - (from a similar area of Macclesfield) worked our way up the financial ladder over our working lives by taking chances and seizing opportunities. I was a working Musician at age 14. Switched to operating a MAGIC PARTY BUSINESS for Children when aged 30 with my wife Susan which hugely altered our lives both financially and in most other respects taking us into places and social circles and opportunities we never dreamed of. We were engaged by TV Celebs, Sports Celebs, everyday well known business owners, - and even Lords and Ladies. We lived Wilmslow for 30 years and raised our kids there and retired 2019 a few weeks before Covid. Now in Staffordshire, England with local Cheshire family and family in Madrid, Spain. Any Trades? yes, served my time as a Newspaper Printer (trade long gone.) pianist@tutamail.com State clearly who you are - check this box every two weeks.

Story behind the song
I originally recorded this piece MP3. The conversion to WAV was made in 2021 therefore this shows as upload date. It was in fact around 2018. YouTube Copyrights has advised me that there is no Copyright challenge on public performance of this piece of music. One of my favourites of all time - not too hard, yet not too easy to play. Full of melody, character and contrasts. Look up Composer: Robert Docker on Wikipedia. Son of a London dock worker he became a great British composer and performer. I last heard him live on BBC Radio playing this piece many, many years ago.

Sensational piano playing, Tony. Yes, it is very beautiful. The cascade of keys, the sentimental parts and then, the dynamic parts to the song. You have the piano mastered so beautifully. Violins have a soul....well, I believe that pianos do, as well. And, any instrument does....the musician has to bond with the instrument. Wonderful work.

sounds a bit like George and Ira Gershwin's music, very familiar melodies that are very comforting, thanks for posting.
